Smokin' Aces
"Smokin' Aces" is a film caught between being a violent, serious, Reservoir Dogs-esque action film and a cartoon-like splatter-fest. Unfortunately it doesn't really do either justice and I was left unsatisfied on both fronts. A "director's cut" might make this a much better film.
I'd recommend seeing this film as the characters delivered by a strong ensemble cast are compelling and there are also some really good shots and action sequences.
WARNING: There is quite a bit of blood but not too much gore.
