Christopher Hitchens god is not Great: How religion poisons everything

god is not Great: How religion poisons everything is another book that looks to add fuel to a smoldering idea whose time must surely come
Unlike Dawkins in The God Delusion Hitchens is unapologetically anti-religion. Attacking it from all sides he lays bare its inequities warts, lies and attrocites. From syphilitic Mohels passing herpes and terminal STD's to Jewish babies to Papal support for Hitler, Mussolini and Franco to the Muslim cartoon outrage and the laughable genesis of the Mormon church. No one is spared nor should they be.
If you needed convincing this book leaves the reader in no doubt as to the tawdry backwardness of religion and the damage it has done to the human race.
