Dick Francis– Flying Finish
Flying Finish is one of the first novels written by Dick Francis and one of my favourites.
Generally the characters in a Francis novel are likeable from the start but Henry Grey, the protagonist in this novel is an exception. It takes a while to warm up to him but he ultimately redemes himself in a tale with real suspense and some nice variety.
