Peter Robinson Aftermath

Aftermath is an excellent British police procedural. I'm a little biased toward this style of writing but this is a good tale nevertheless.
Unlike most detective novels this book centres around the "Aftermath" of the crime. It isn't contrived at all and procedes at a good pace. The characters are well realised (this is the 12th Inspector Banks novel) and believeable and the dialog is snappy.
